Midna papercraft by minidelirium Midna papercraft by minidelirium
DONE! I made this small version of Midna for my little sister. she took 30h to make, I used 200g-paper (a bit of a mistake, the smaller parts were hard as hell to manipulate) and I'm very satisfied with the result. she is about 37cm tall. (somewhere around 14" I think)

I used the talented XenonRays template which can be downloaded here [link]

thank you! I'm short on 200g-paper right now, otherwise I'd be doing the life sized asap, but it can wait. I have so many builds on queue atm, I'll be swamped until christmas! :)

and man am I glad I made the neck and ankles strong! it shows that the head would fall off otherwise. I can't imagine how this would've turned out in the usuall 80g-paper I used before the twili-midna! :O_o:

that's always what I'm going for, I want the models to turn out as 'CGI' as possible. :D

You do such an awesome job on these!

Have you ever thought of selling these at cons?

that would be very cool and there are some moveable papercrafts out there. mostly small stuff like a very blocky gagnam style papercraft and such things, but yeah, that would be awesome!
and thanks! :XD: I try my best to make them as close to the template as possible.

nah, I'm on prepension and the second I sold one of them I'd be chucked out since I'd be seen as fit to work (which I'm not btw, just had to put that in there if you think these are compareable to work stuff). I don't think the people in swedens universal insurance would understand that these things are so time consuming to make that one could never live off of them. I mean, this is just a cooler version of model airplanes or model cars. it's a hobby. but I don't think they'd understand that.

also, it isn't that fun to build them when I know I've been asked to make them. I mostly just build what fancies me and give some away to friends, or friends of friends. at least those that I'd rather give away than keep for myself. :D

This is incredible! I seriously thought this was a hard sculpt until I read the title and looked at the pics closer. I am insanely impressed with your skill and how this project turned out. Amazing!
