War from Darksiders papercraft 2 by minidelirium War from Darksiders papercraft 2 by minidelirium
he meassures 80cm and has been my hardest build yet. I built him in 160g-paper. the grand assembly made me cry. for real. I mean, it was HARD. I had to go with double sided strong tape on some parts because they just fell off otherwise. but I'm very pleased with the outcome and I'm really proud too.

the hair proved harder than the face even, but I've put it together so you can all enjoy a perfect papercraft War! <3

tell him I almost burned the whole thing when I came to the hair! :XD: it was HARD!! I had to cut off the tabs and make new tabs for each and every little piece of hair to make it look good. (and could you please tell him I enjoyed making it very much and the person I tried to impress by making one of the hardest pieces out there liked it very much too :D (even though it's really hard for me to impress him nowadays, he just expects perfection from me No, I disagree!))
and thank you very much :blushes:
your own builds look splendid by the way. consider yourself watched!

oh wow, I don't know how to respond, there is a really good guide on how to begin papercrafting here [link]
but I should warn you, I'm at a very high skill level of papercrafting and he did take the better part of 3 months to make, but don't let that stand in your way of beginning with this awesome hobby! there are a lot of cool and pretty easy models out there!

not weird at all, I frequently fall in love with skilled peoples makings and skills and such! :D
and thank you very very much! I really appreciate it!

and it makes for awesome stuff ang GREAT presents! think of the thickness of the paper though. I made my things in regular printerpaper (80g) up until the Midna in her Twili-form, and those figures aren't too durable, they buckle easy and are just not pretty after a few months since they tend to sag too. can't support its own weight. I'd say that 120g is the thinnest paper that makes for good stuff, but I myself prefer 160g-paper for most larger figures. the life size zelda is good with 200g. I hope you like this hobby! I love it and I love to see others love it too! the more we are, the more cool stuff will be made avaliable! :D

thank you! I'm pleased as hell with him. a really hard build. hardest yet. I'd love to try to build something easy now, like your Pinkie Pie, but I have 3 friends who all want a Midna for themselves, so I'll be making 3 small and one life size Midna after this one.
like a reward for a job REALLY well done on War. :giggle:
