Zelda life size papercraft 2 by minidelirium Zelda life size papercraft 2 by minidelirium
I finally got pictures of my life size Zelda! she is 170cm tall (5'6''), the upper body is built in 160/g-paper, the skirt in 200/g-paper. she took 226h to build and I gave her away for free to a woman I didn't know before this build.

if you have any questions, just ask! I'm so proud over her! :woohoo:

the template can be downloaded from the talented template master PaperJuke
here are the links for download!

You could go to paperjuke.blogspot.se/ and look for it, since I sadly don't have the files (and am not sure I'd be allowed to upload them even if I did have them)

I found it! :D But without instructions :( I don't want to risk doing it without instructions. Can you share at least those?  :(

I didn't have any, I just started building her from the tip of the hair and then kinda followed where to fold after the pepakura file. I don't think there are any instructions.

Sorry for taking so long to answer.

OMG YOU HAVE TO READ THIS OR UR LIFE WILL BE RUINED, IM SERIOUS!!!
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!!!! AND COPY AND PASTE ON YOUR JOURNEL OR YOUR FRIEND's OR OTHER DEVIANT's  PROFILES!!!!!

Don't know why there are so many Hackers around here but just incase, I dont wanna risk it

THERE IS A HACKER ON DEVIANTART, CALLED 'LIFE OWNER'.....

TELL EVERYONE ON YOUR LIST BECAUSE IF SOMEBODY ON YOUR LIST ADDS HIM THEN YOU WILL GET HIM ON YOUR LIST. HE WILL FIGURE OUT YOUR ID COMPUTER ADDRESS, SO COPY AND PASTE THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE EVEN IF YOU DON'T CARE FOR THEM AND FAST BECAUSE IF HE HACKS THEIR EMAIL HE HACKS YOUR MAIL TOO (I think what it means by that is that he could assume the identity of your friends, and FOOL you into opening the letter since you think it's your friend that's sending it )!!...
------------------------------
Anyone using Internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived this morning, Direct from both Microsoft and Norton. Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet. You may receive an apparently harmless e-mail titled 'MailServer Report'

If you open either file, a message will appear on If you open either file, a message will appear on your screen saying: 'It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful.'

Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC,

And the person who sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password.

This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the anti virus software's are not capable of destroying it .

The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself 'life owner'..

PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THIS TO ALL

Remember, always be careful of messages you receive in email-don't open them unless you're 100% POSITIVE they're safe. If you have even the SLIGHTEST doubt, DON'T open it-DELETE it, it's the smart thing to do!

first of all, THANK YOU! :D

I don't really have the stamina atm to explain the building process, but there's this awesome guide here www.papercraftmuseum.com/advan… that explains how it's done and what supplies to use. I almost always link to this site when someone asks me this, I think it's a great page to start with if you like model building and want to try papercraft. they have A LOT of models for download there too, I'd start small and work my way up to bigger or more complex stuff, that's what I did, some 90 builds ago :D.
each build taught me something, each little problem solved is a great way to learn. and if you get stuck on something you ca always ask the template maker of the model you're stuck on (they're almost always credited) since they often have built the model first and know how to solve the problems that do arise.

Wow O.O

This is amazing!

Can I ask a question to papercraft?

is it allowed to glue things? Or does it Need to be folded out of one big Piece of paper?

thanks! I'm glad you like her! :blushes:

glue is essential! it's not origami, its just crafting with paper, so essentially it's just like model building, but with lots of small parts (= printed pieces of paper that one cuts out from letter or A4, then fold and glue, it's VERY time consuming stuff) that together makes the whole model, like any number of plastic models out there. :D

But try to "level up" your skills at creating templates for papercrafts then!! I'm sure you will be great on it. Once you practice a few or more times.

nah, I really like assembly better than computer modeling. it's not my scene so to speak. I'm 'just' a builder and that's how I'm the most happy. I feel such gratitude for all the other papercrafters that makes these templates for me (and others) to build. they make my life so much better just by giving me more stuff to build and be proud over. :D

Wow! I'm proud of you to be the one you really are!
By the way, can you find a friend that loves to talk before people and talk about your papercraft from scratch to complete beauty? Or just take the papercrafts up with just a paper that tells them your "presentation"?
But please, don't let me bother your life. I mean. nevermind all that stuff I said! Really.

Do the things you like to do! And give it your best shot! Meow :3

Anyways. I'm so happy to talk to such an amazing person like you! And I'm sorry for "pushing" you around. I shouldn't bother your "disliked things". I usually don't do it!! Nuu

that sounds like something that would scare most of my friends (and also me) to do. :XD: I've gotten requests of that kind before but I'm the worst in front of an audiens, so I've turned those down. I'd love to be one of those people that feel comfy in front of others but I'm not. Meow :3

it's always nice to know that 'my little hobby' is impressive or beautiful to others so I'm very happy you talked to me!

But are you really happy to talk to me?o-o I mean. I'm not.. that... great >///< I'm just a regulare girl... I guess o.o

... I'm also very happy to talk to such an awesome creator like youLa la la la ! I mean really... It is very rarely to talk to "one of you". Meow :3

online is ok, it's mostly scary to stand in front of an audiens and speak about something that I love deeply. (also, this is a hobby that takes hours on end to assemble so it would be hard for me to find a way to explain it by showing, unless I'd show pictures ofc... there's an idea... hum....)

regulare girls does not scare me. :D on the contrary, I myself am a pretty ordinary, kind and caring young woman (at least from my own point of view) who just have a very time consuming hobby, like to play with my nieces. go for rides, chitchat with my friends, take long walks in the forrest, eat chocolate icecream and everything else us regular people do for fun. I'm probably very much like you, just born under different circumstances. I mean, most humans tend to be pretty alike deep down. we like to be with the people we love, we like to play and have fun and most of us cares deeply for eachother and like to cooperate to make a safe society for everyone. I care for every living thing on the planet. probably just like most other people does. (at least I really really hope most people do Sweating a little...)

aww thank you! what a sweet thing to say! Hug
but I assure you, I'm pretty regular behind all of the 'being awesome at holding focus on papercraft for hours on end'-part of me. Meow :3
I'm not a template maker for these papercrafts, I almost always build what others have made on their computers. it's 'just' a very pretty and striking form of model building (mind you, it does take a LOOOOONG time to assemle, the life size Zelda took me about 150h in pure building time, 226h total, but that was my own fault, I had to redo a lot of her to make her perfect, this was ofc done over about 1 monts or so, but it still shows a bit of dedication to my hobby) it takes a long time to cut every piece out perfectly, make the white edges less visible by colouring them with watercolouring pens, fold them in the right places and glue every tab in the right way. it's a bit like very complicated 3D-puzzles! it's a very soothing hobby. at least if one likes to focus on crafting. Meow :3

What kind of paper did you use on her? She's so huge; it must've taken some strong materials to keep her from caving in...

actually she's kinda fragile. I hadn't learned how to make large papercrafts sturdy yet so she's actually just built of one layer of regular white printer paper, but thicker, so she's made of 160g (upper body) and 200g-paper (the skirt) (though I should've used 200g only and I should've tried to make her more stable, now she's like a lamp shade, just one layer of paper) but paper is very durable, lamp shades are pretty durable for example. but I could definitly had made her a lot sturdier.
